Branding 2.0 Plan

Currently the best way for a Brand to get known in internet is using the following channels:

- SEO (Search Engine Optimization) in order to rank high in Search Engines
- PPC (Pay per Click) in order to boost specific campaigns or products
- Social Media to build loyalty and communication in a bidirectional way with your customers
- Other “classic” marketing channels such as emails, PRs or partnerships are not as effective but also interesting for certain campaigns.
In the following posts we will see deeply the way to gain visibility and influence on the customers in internet; the idea is to make brands be a bit more in control of what they represent in the web and also build up a closer relationship with the customers, which will bring the beloved loyalty.

Branding and Social Media

Brands (and all creative people behind them) are making great jobs, creative ideas come more and more often. But do these ideas get to the right people at the right moment? Branding 2.0 is a new way to make this happen.

Social Media will allow you to understand and influence the way your customers are seeing you and your products. I have read the other day "It does not matter if you are in the conversation or not, it will happen anyway". So, yes, Brands must be scared about the power of social media, but it is also true that given that we can't control the masses at least we can be there not to make them feel alone.

Branding 2.0 is a new concept that slowly is entering in the marketing online world. To have a decent reputation offline and not take care about the Brand in the online side of it could have such a bad effect in the way your brand is seen by your customers.

Branding 2.0 is a way of getting and keeping conversations with your customers in a very effective way. Rank high in Search Engines, use the PPC campaigns for certain specific campaigns or spread your ideas/products/feelings through the wonderful world of social media.

Branding can be measured, Reputation can be measured and both are useful for making your customers happy.
